Breakfast
- 3/4 cup dry cereal flakes with 1 cup of low-fat milk
- 1 small apple

Lunch
- 1 cup cooked rice
- 3 ounces grilled fish seasoned with spices and lemon juice
- 1 scrambled egg cooked with 1 strip of bacon and 1 teaspoon of canola oil
- A half a cup cooked carrots and 2 cup cooked green beans
- A half a cup of unsweetened orange juice
OR
- 1 small potato and 1 small ear of corn
- A half a cup unsweetened orange juice
- 1 cup salad with 2 tablespoons reduced-fat salad dressing
- 3 ounces of steamed lean chicken with garlic and ginger
Dinner
- 2 (6-inch) tortilla
- 1 small potato
- 3 ounces of cooked minced lean meat with 1 cup tomato sauce
- A half a cup steamed broccoli
OR
- 1 small potato baked with 1 slice low-fat cheese
- 1 hard-boiled egg
- A half a cup cooked green beans
- 1 cup of low-fat yogurt
